We are pleased to announce that the Motocaddy S1 PRO electric trolley has been awarded top marks in the recent Today's Golfer long-term trolley test.
Featured in issue 315, the widely read magazine tested 18 electric and manual models to help aid their reader's buying decisions. The TG equipment team and a handful of readers tested each trolley over at least eight rounds and marked the models on folded size, performance (including assembly) and functions. We supplied three models - the S1 Lite Push Cart, S1 PRO and M1 PRO - and both electric trolleys were supplied with 36-hole lithium batteries.
The M1 PRO was used for over 25 rounds and received 4.5/5.0 including full marks for Looks, Ease of use, Performance and Reliability. According to Equipment Editor, Joel Tadman:
"It's well made, sturdy, reliable and folds away into a compact size - plus it looks great."
The conclusion was that the M1 PRO was 'one of the smallest when folded' in addition to being 'simple to use, looks great and is a breeze to control'.
The S1 PRO was used for over 30 rounds and received top marks for Looks, Ease of Assembly, Ease of use, Performance and Reliability. It also received 4.5/5.0 for Functions and 4.0/5.0 for Value with the panel describing it as a 'great looking' trolley which 'folds and locks easily and quickly'. The conclusion was that:
"The S1 PRO has the perfect balance of essentials and features with no gimmicks. This trolley was allocated at random to Howard, but he said that it would be the one he’d spend his cash on. The way it simply folds down and clicks down into place, with the battery still housed inside, makes it one of the simplest to load. Reliable and good value, too."
The S1 Lite also received the SILVER AWARD in the manual trolley category with an impressive 4.5/5.0 thanks to its simplicity and outstanding value for money.
